This project was a long time coming for the Alliance Bible congregation. For over a decade a building shell sat empty on the church property, waiting to be built out and become the church’s new worship center. Over the years, the congregation and the community stopped even noticing the large structure that was standing in their parking lot, as they became so accustomed to it.
More recently, funding and focus brought momentum toward completing this project, as part of a plan to help propel the church into its next phase of ministry. Ethan Bolvi, the church technical director, was appointed by the church to project manage the completion of the project. Ethan contacted CCI Solutions and brought us into the project for master planning and execution of the building technology systems.
The initial challenge for CCI Solutions was that the infrastructure plans for the building were over ten years old and required significant adjustments. In addition, major changes needed to be coordinated with structural, electrical, and even architectural teams in order to accommodate significant changes in technology over the past decade. Each change was addressed with the church and implemented, and gradually the space was transformed from the original design to what it is today.
Installed by the CCI Solutions team, the audio system consists of L-Acoustics Kara speaker arrays, the video display is a center-hung Absen LED wall, rounded out by a fully LED lighting system, including full-color house lighting for an immersive worship experience. In the end, this worship space is now a premiere performance space in the region, supporting both the regular needs of the church as well as touring concerts coming through Appalachia.
